Donations Restarted

In 2026 we plan to accept donations on the same days that we have Backdoor Bookstore sales. This means that during most* months you will be able to buy and donate books on:

  • Second Saturday - 10 am to 2 pm

  • Fourth Thursday - 4 pm to 8 pm

    *Note - This will have to vary some months, so check the calendar and this page each month.

Volunteers Needed

We need volunteers to support the Backdoor Sales and Donation Days. If you are available, please contact us by email (friends@ffcpl.org) or just come and help. The dates and times are on our calendar and on this page of our website.

February Events

  • Saturday, February 14 from 10 am to 2 pm - Backdoor Bookstore Sale & Donation Day

  • Tuesday, February 17 at 6 pm - Come join us for the Monthly Friends Board Meeting!

  • Thursday, February 26 from 4pm to 8 pm - Backdoor Bookstore Nightshop & Donation Day

Bring Us Your Books and Media Items!

Our In-Person and Online Book Sales are our main fundraisers and we depend on your book and media donations to make the sales successful. We always appreciate your donations of good, clean, saleable books, CDs, Vinyl Records, audiobooks, DVDs, puzzles, and board games.

Please do NOT bring outdated (before 2000) Textbooks, Medical Books, Exercise Books, Diet Books, or Audio Cassettes.

Book Nook - The Year-Round Booksale!

The Friends sponsors an area just inside the main library across from the circulation desk stocked year-round with books for sale. Books are priced from $0.50 to $5.00, and payment is on the honor system using a cash box. There are no provisions for making change so please bring change or small bills. Please stop and shop with us when you are in the library!
