Thanks to public service librarian, Jessica Kuhr, who did extensive research on this program and brought it to our library. The digital audio book collection allows you to download audio books from the internet, free of charge, so you can listen to a wide range of books on portable devices, CD players or your computer. There are 1,000's of titles available now to download.
All you need to get started is your library card and your pin number that you use to access your account and renew your books on line. The library staff will be happy to issue your pin number.
WORLD VIEW
Ever noticed this beautiful globe in the youth department? Rumor has it that it was a gift several years ago from the Friends. (Let us know if you know.) Although recent changes in country allegiances and name changes have rendered many globes outdated-that does not change the fact that this globe is a beauty and an asset to our library.
Find your dream locale on the globe and visit through books or movies.
